About the Author
Rhona has been teaching the guitar and piano for over 30 years. She wrote her first guitar examinations in Zimbabwe and sat the “Banjo, Mandolin and Guitar Society’s” A, B and C grade examinations – the only guitar teachers qualification available in the 1970’s (for both plectrum and Classical Guitar).
After the guitar syllabus was introduced by Trinity College of London, she then wrote Grade 8, both theory and practical, followed by her L.T.C.L. (Licentiate of the Trinity College of London) in 1984. Having moved to South Africa, she then furthered her studies at UNISA and did her B.Mus. (Bachelor of Music), with a major in teaching.
